How It Works
Sessions are conducted via Zoom and can be booked online. Choose 15 or 30 minutes depending on how many questions you have. It's casual, low-pressure and starts at $99.

Who You'll Be Speaking With
All sessions are conducted personally by Gary Uys, Director and Founder of CPP Quantity Surveyors. Gary holds FAIQS and CQS credentials through the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and has over 30 years of experience working with builders, QS consultancies and developers across Australia and the USA.
CPP Quantity Surveyors specialises in small residential and commercial buildings — but this one-on-one session is open-ended. Whatever's on your mind, this is your chance to speak directly with an experienced, independent Quantity Surveyor.

What is a "Talk to a Quantity Surveyor" Session?
A Talk to a Quantity Surveyor Session is a paid virtual consultation with Gary Uys FAIQS, CQS conducted via Zoom. Sessions are available in 15 or 30 minute formats and cover any quantity surveying related topic — from ballpark costs and second opinions through to project feasibility, APC mentoring and career advice.
How Much Does a Session Cost?
Sessions start from $99 for a 15 minute consultation. A 30 minute session is also available for more complex questions. Payment is made online at the time of booking.
How Do I Book?

What Topics Can I Ask About?
Sessions are open-ended and can cover any quantity surveying related topic including construction costs, project budgets, cost estimates, DA reports, insurance valuations, contract advice, APC mentoring and general career advice. If you're not sure whether your question is suitable, just get in touch and we'll let you know.
Can You Provide a Formal Report After the Session?
​Yes. If following the session you decide you need a formal QS report or estimate, we can provide a fee proposal for the relevant service. The session fee is separate to any subsequent report fees.
